Terms and Conditions of Hire

Booking.

All bookings are subject to availability and must be made by a person over 18 years of age. Bookings for all Male or Female groups aged 21 or under years of age will only be accepted by special arrangement. Inappropriate or Unreasonable conduct will result with the person responsible for such behavior being asked to leave the chalet park. No refund will be given for lost time in this event. We retain the right to refuse any booking prior to the issue of written confirmation. 

Payment.

When we confirm availability, a deposit cheque (non refundable) will be required for £50 (or the Total amount for short stay & weekend bookings) this needs to be made payable to Mr K J Torrey.  Cash payments can be sent by Registered or Recorded delivery post, however we will not be held responsible for any loss of payment if you choose to use this method.

Once your deposit is received a booking confirmation confirming your details and the balance of your total holiday cost due. This must be paid at least 4 weeks before your arrival date.
However, if your booking is made less than 4 weeks before your planned arrival date, the full holiday amount is required to be paid at the time of booking.

If you need to change your confirmed booking and alternative dates are available, an administration fee of £20 will be charged to re-book. This charge applies if the change is within 4 weeks of the original holiday commencement. Alternatively if more than 4 weeks notice is given and alternative dates are available, no admin charge will be made.

Cancellation.

If you wish to cancel the booking you must inform us immediately in writing. It is recommended that all holidaymakers obtain their own travel & holiday insurance as no refunds are given. As per the above paragraph, if availability exists you'll be given the opportunity to move your holiday to other week(s) / days, if the total holiday cost of the substitute booking is higher the difference must be paid by the hirer within 7 days.

All weekly bookings run from Saturday to Saturday (7 nights), unless otherwise stated. When the holiday has been paid in full, you'll be sent details of how to find the chalet park and a Key-Card.

Very Important:- It is ESSENTIAL you take this Key-Card with you to the Chalet park, as upon arrival at the Park Office you will need to exchange this for the chalet keys. For security reasons the park office operate a very strict policy relating to the issue of Keys and that is simply:- No Key Card – No Keys.

The keys will be available between 3pm & 5pm unless other arrangements have been made. Replacement key cards will not be provided. On departure day, please vacate the chalet by 10am and return the keys to the office.

If you do not hand the keys back to office/reception or lose them you agree to pay the costs incurred to replace the Chalet Locks and duplicate keys.

Small dogs (2 maximum) can be accepted in the chalet by special arrangement, however an additional charge of £16 is made per pet per week or short break. We ask that pets are kept off the furniture & beds and are not left unattended in the chalet. Keep dogs on leads at all times in the chalet park and clean up any fouls. There are special disposal bins provided around the Park. Dangerous dog breeds are not allowed on the chalet park at any time.

Smoking.

For the comfort and health of all our guests smoking is Not allowed anywhere in the chalet.

Bed linen.

This is not provided. Please bring your own sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers. The mattress and pillowcase covers are fitted to protect the beds and pillows and should Not be removed unless they require cleaning due to soiling.

The Chalet – General.

You agree to keep the property dean and tidy and leave it in a similar condition as you found it upon your arrival. You agree to pay for any breakages or damage, caused by you, members of your party or pets. This applies to either the contents of or structure of the chalet, which occurred during your holiday.

Circumstances beyond our control (Act of god) - Should the accommodation become unavailable, a full refund will be given. No compensation, expenses, costs or other sums will be payable in such circumstances. We will not accept any liability for alterations to the facilities on the park, or failure of local amenities to those advertised.

In the case of any Disputes

Our decision is final, however this does not affect your statutory rights.
